Pet owners urged to know which spring plants are dangerous for their animals

It comes after a cat died from eating a hyacinth

Pet owners are being urged to learn which plants could be toxic to their animals this spring.

A number of flowers coming into bloom this year can make dogs and cats in particular very ill or even cause death.

One person took to social media to warn others when her cat died after eating a hyacinth.
