WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — this week’s pet pal is a 3 year old female Pocket Pitbull.
New Hanover County shelter staff says she loves people and wants all the attention, but is uneasy around other dogs. Staff says a home where she is the only dog is recommended. The family must also have experience with Pocket Pitbulls in order to adopt.
If you would like to adopt her, New Hanover Animal Services is located at 180 Division Dr. in Wilmington. County residents can adopt for $70. If a dog is already in the home, a meet-and-greet is required.
