NEW HANOVER COUNTY (WWAY) — This week’s Pet Pal is Shasta. She is a mixed breed which includes Irish Wolf Hound.
According to the New Hanover Humane Society, Shasta is a very sweet girl.
She tends to get shy when in a new environment, but she warms up very quickly and doesn’t require too much training.
Shasta is very good with other dogs as she loves to play with other furry friends.
She is also good with humans.
They also say she is very friendly with anyone, and they believe she would do wonderfully with young children.
She is also a big fan of playing fetch and ear scratches.
The Humane Society is located at 2405 north 23rd street in Wilmington.
