MARION, N.C. (WLOS) — Meet Mitzi, a smaller but lively tuxedo-colored female cat who is 15 years old but definitely doesn't look or act her age!
She's up for adoption through Laps and Naps Home for Senior Cats.
“She is a little live wire,” said Nancy Gavin, with Laps and Naps, “so if you like a little active cat running around… She is very affectionate when she's in a calm environment.”
Mitzi is very cuddly and prefers sleeping with her foster mom.
She does have hyperthyroidism, so she needs medication twice a day, but it's an easy transferrable form so it's put right into her ears.
Mitzi's personality means she has a tendency to bully other cats, so she might do best in a home with no other cats — or in a home with a laid-back cat.
