Pet Pals: Pitbull mix looking for forever home

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — This week’s pet pal is an 1 1/2 year-old Pitbull mix.

Shelter staff says he is an owner surrender and has a hard time adjusting mentally after being returned once before. Staff also says he does need basic training and a lot of patience, but he is very sweet, and is just in need of the right family.

If you want to adopt, New Hanover County Animal Services is located at 180 Division drive in Wilmington. County residents can adopt for $70.

If you have a dog at home, a meet and greet is required.
