Pets Fur People hosts annual dog wash fundraiser

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – Some East Texans spent time on Saturday getting their dogs washed and helping out an animal rescue organization.

Anyone was able to get their pet washed, for free. And, for every wash, Peltier donated $25 to Pets Fur People.

The group says this is one of their biggest fundraisers and it helps them get the word out about what their organization is doing to help animals.

“To look around and see the camaraderie – see again another instance of people coming together. We want to be there for the good of these pets – we want to help the very most we can,” said Executive Director Holli Jones.

Microchipping and nail trimming were also available, at a charge.
