Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — April 21, 2o25 — Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Snickers: Snickers is a 21-week-old female mix. She’s mostly black with small white markings. She’s only been in the shelter for four days, and we don’t expect that she or her five siblings will be here long!
Meet Steve: Steve is a 3-year-old domestic long-haired cat. He’s an 11-lb male and has been in foster care for two weeks. He’s not fond of dogs, and he’s up to date on all of his vaccines and ready for a forever home!
