Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dec. 16, 2024 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Igor: Igor is a 17-week-old male kitten who has been in the shelter for one week. He’s a tabby and has been healthy for his entire stay. He’s playful and friendly and the staff adores him!
Meet Wilbur: Wilbur is a 10-month-old, medium-sized breed. He’s male and has been in the shelter for nine weeks. He’s been chipped and neutered, and he weighs a little over 50 lbs. He’s in a play group with his brother, Waylon, and our beloved Monkey. He’s shy but a real cuddle bug once he gets to know you!
