Pets of the Week Jan. 13

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Jan. 13, 2025 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Kiya: Kiya is a 6-month-old domestic shorthair who has been in the shelter for only a week. While we haven’t had her long, we already adore her!

Meet Baylor: Baylor is a 4-year-old female dog. She’s been on the shelter’s “roster” for seven months but has spent the majority of that time at a board-and-train with SNK9 and then in a foster home. She came in heartworm positive but has been successfully treated. Baylor is 61 lbs. and already microchipped.
