Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Jan. 6, 2025 – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Joey: Joey is a large, domestic shorthair cat who is a tabby-colored male. He’s around two years old and has been in the shelter for two weeks. He’s very healthy, but his favorite thing to do is nap, upside down, against his kennel door.
Daisy Mae: Daisy Mae is a 2-year, 3-month-old medium German shepherd mix; she’s a 64 lbs. female who’s been in the shelter for eight weeks. She came in with her litter of puppies as a welfare case. She’s heartworm negative, energetic, and friendly.
