Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — June 16, 2025 — Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.
JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.
Meet Lucky Charm: Lucky Charm is one of the “cereal” kittens who’s still looking for a home. He is eight weeks old and has been in the shelter for one week. He’s a domestic shorthair and is up to date on all of his vaccines. White with black and tan markings, Lucky Charm is as cute as he is sweet!
Meet Jo Jo: Jo Jo has only been in the shelter for three weeks, but he’s already a staff favorite. He’s one year and three months old, weighs 53 lbs., and is up to date on vaccines and preventatives. He’s heartworm positive but is undergoing treatment. Jo Jo is a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s very affectionate and playful. We also love how calm and smart he is!
