Pets of the week – Twin Cities

These and other friendly pets are available for adoption through Carver-Scott Humane Society:

Monica

Meet Miss Monica, a 1.5-year-old black and white domestic shorthair. She is a cutie patootie with spots and gorgeous green eyes to match. She’s a sweet lady who is healthy, up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and ready to adopt.

She’s very friendly to humans and affectionate to all of our volunteers. She’s waiting to meet you at Petsmart in Richfield, where you can adopt her today. Please note: Petsmart will do same-day adoptions. We cannot hold cats, and adopters are considered on a first-come, first-considered basis. If you are interested in adopting Monica, you are encouraged to visit the store.

Honey

This is Ms. Honey. She is a brown and white pitbull terrier. Honey is 4 years old and approximately 45 pounds.

She has a beautiful and unique look that will immediately draw you in and make you fall in love with her. This girl is as sweet as her name. She is very friendly to all people and will become anyone’s best friend, especially those who give her back scratches.

She is living in a foster home, so if you are interested to meet and greet this lovable pup, please fill out an adoption application and contact us to set up a time. Honey’s adoption fee is $325 plus tax. Adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip and spay/neuter surgery.

All adoptable pets are checked for temperament, up-to-date on shots, vet-checked, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. To start the adoption process or check out the list of animals available for adoption, visit the new and improved Carver Scott Humane Society website: www.carverscotths.org.

This and other pets are available from Protecting Paws Animal Rescue:

Charlie

Looking for a walking and car-riding buddy? Charlie would like to join you. This even-tempered, outgoing, active lab/pitty mix will be watching for you at the window, will greet you at the door, give dog kisses and loyally follow. He’ll hope for dog toys and games of fetch or tug-o-war. Charlie can’t be with cats but is good with kids and new folks and likes dogs but is on the dominant side. He enjoys brushing, petting and tummy rubs. Charlie is house- and crate-trained.

Protecting Paws Animal Rescue’s pets have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, dewormed, are up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. For further information or to start the adoption process, it is best to email adoptions.protectingpaws@gmail.com, or visit protectingpawsanimalrescue.org or call 952-288-3668.
