PETS OF WEEK: Petey and Nellah

Petey is a 1-year-old Jack Russell terrier/beagle/mix who was surrendered because he doesn't share resources with other dogs so he needs a home where he can be the only dog. He does interact with other dogs and is playful but if resources are involved, Petey believes they all belong to him, and he becomes possessive. He can also be possessive of bones with humans, so the home should also be child-free, adults only. Petey is housetrained and does well with being crated when left alone. He enjoys going for walks and on adventures with his people. Petey knows a couple of commands. Petey would do really well and bond with his owners in training classes to build a good foundation with him. Petey likes to play fetch and will drop the ball to have it thrown again. He is neutered.

Nellah is a 2-year-old domestic shorthair mix, a charming feline who revels in affectionate pets and cuddle time. The moment you begin petting her, she'll begin kneading “biscuits” and her purring will kick in right away. Nellah gets along well with other cats and is eager to become a part of your family. She is spayed.
