PROGRESS is being made on delivering a dog park for Castlebar.
District cathaoirleach Councillor Donna Sheridan has championed the need for a dog run for pets, and received a positive update when she asked about the latest news on it at a municipal meeting yesterday.
The council has funding for the facility, David Mellett, head of the municipal district outlined.
A site has been identified and they are looking at the design side of the project, he said.
