Puppy Eagerly Waits For Elevator Doors To Open And Reveal Her New Life

The dog meat trade is a disgusting practice that preys on innocent pups. Thankfully, there are people who put their own lives on the line to save as many of these canine victims as possible. Kong, a puppy who narrowly escaped becoming a victim of the dog meat trade in South Korea, has found a loving forever home in the United States, thanks to the efforts of the Korean K9 Rescue organization. The organization works with shelters and rescue groups in South Korea to bring dogs to the U.S. and connect them with families that can give them a second chance at a happy life.

When Kong first arrived in New Jersey, she was extremely scared and shook in the arms of her rescuer. The rescuer decided to foster Kong to make sure she was ready to go to her forever family. Kong’s new adoptive family knew that she might be fearful and skittish due to her traumatic past, but they were ready to give her the time, patience, and love she needed to overcome her fears.

For Kong’s new parent, the decision to adopt Kong came after spending her birthday working with dogs that had been victims of the dog meat trade in Southeast Asia. The heartbreaking experience made her determined to give one of these animals a home.

To prepare Kong for her big adoption day, her foster mom made sure she felt comfortable and safe during the car ride to her new home. Kong’s new family prepared a bed, treats, and everything Kong could possibly want, hoping to make her feel welcome and loved. Upon meeting her new family, Kong seemed curious and cautiously accepting of her new surroundings. She quickly warmed up to her new owners, exploring her new home and happily accepting treats from them.

As Kong settled into her new life, she began to bond with her new family, who were also learning how to care for a puppy for the first time. Together, they embarked on a journey of learning and growing, with Kong showing an openness to new experiences and a willingness to trust her new owners.

In her new home, Kong enjoys going for walks, learning new tricks, and snuggling with her favorite blanket. Her family is overjoyed to have the opportunity to give her a happy and loving life, and Kong’s rescuer is confident that she has found the perfect forever home.
