YORK, MAINE — RAWZ Natural Pet Food, a third-generation, family-owned pet food business that donates 100% of its profits, announced the official launch of its latest cat food recipe. The new Limited Rabbit Recipe for Cats is a freeze-dried raw-coated kibble formula made with a single protein — rabbit — and designed for cats with food sensitivities.

The new cat diet also includes algae-derived oil, and is free from eggs, potato, corn, rendered fat, dairy, wheat, soy and canola oil, according to the company. The formula was first teased at Global Pet Expo 2024, held March 20 to 22 in Orlando, Fla.

“We understand the significant impact pets leave on our lives, which is why it’s always been our mission to provide nutritionally exceptional recipes to pets around the globe to support their overall health and wellbeing,” said Janet Scott, owner of RAWZ Natural Pet Food. “RAWZ is excited to introduce our very first limited dry food recipe that is made grain-free with easily digestible ingredients for cats with food sensitivities.”

Like all other RAWZ recipes for dogs and cats, Limited Rabbit Recipe for Cats is produced in the United States, and 100% of profits are funneled through The RAWZ Fund, through which the Scott family supports cat rescues, provision of service dogs, and people who have experienced spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries.

“Our personal commitment to these three causes is based on our family’s experience,” the company states on its website. “Both of our sons, Andy and Jimmy, suffered life-altering injuries due to unforeseen accidents. During their recoveries, we were continually moved by the deep, spiritual connection they both developed with our yellow lab, Boomer. We were able to witness firsthand this profound connection between humans and animals — this was the inspiration behind The RAWZ Fund.”
