Red Line trains become pet-friendly on weekends starting January 4


All Aboard for Pet-Friendly Travels!

BANGKOK, Thailand – A new pet-friendly service is being launched in collaboration with Nida Poll, and was announced as a New Year’s gift, the State Railway of Thailand said on its Facebook page.

The rules for travelling with pets are as follows:
– Service is available only on Saturdays and Sundays;
– Pets allowed are dogs and cats only;
– Each passenger is limited to one pet;
– Pets must be kept in secure and properly sized carriers as specified;
– Passengers must present pet identification documents or a vaccination certificate before boarding;
– Pets may travel only in designated carriages.  (PRD)
