Ren’s Pets to carry premium pet food Vetdiet

GUELPH, ONTARIO — On March 4, Ren’s Pets, a specialty pet food and supply retailer in Canada, announced that it will start carrying Vetdiet’s products beginning April 2022. Both companies are owned by the Legault Group.

Ren’s Pets will add Vetdiet’s premium dry and wet dog and cat food and treats, including dental, freeze-dried and training treats, to its store shelves.

“Ren’s has always been at the front of the pack in bringing innovation and high-quality to pet parents for the diet of their pets,” said Scott Arsenault, chief executive officer, Ren’s Pets. “We’re so excited to add Vetdiet to our incredible selection of premium brands we already carry in our stores. We think that it will complement the strong assortment of food and treats we currently have and be a great addition for our customers.”

The retailer also plans to carry Vetdiet’s Wellness and Care pet food lines.

“We love that Vetdiet combines science and nature, and has a nutritional philosophy that feeding the right food to your pet can make all the difference,” Arsenault said. “We’ll be carrying the Wellness line of Vetdiet pet food, designed to meet specific nutritional needs of your pet throughout their life, along with the Care line that is designed to deliver a specific health benefit for your pet. With Vetdiet, pet parents know they will be getting super-premium ingredients, backed by health and nutrition experts, for food for your pet’s best life.”

Founded in 2015, Vetdiet aimes to combine science and nature to provide complete-and-balanced nutrition. The company’s pet food is formulated with high-quality ingredients with guidance from animal nutrition industry experts.

“With our Ren’s promise, our knowledgeable staff will help you find the right food for your pet, guaranteed,” said Larissa Wasyliw, vice president of e-commerce and marketing, Ren’s Pets. “Having top quality brands like Vetdiet lets us offer customers premium nutritious options to choose from. We really believe that the right pet food is key to a happy, healthy pet.”

Vetdiet will be available in-store at all Ren’s Pets locations throughout Ontario and the Maritimes, as well as online through the retailer’s e-commerce site with shipping throughout most of Canada.
