Biñan Rep. Len Alonte is encouraging pet owners to be responsible and to make sure their pets are spayed or neutered.
To help them, Alonte announced that she will be sponsoring low-cost kapon or spaying and neutering on April 4 at the Congressional District Office.
The price of male cats is P900, and for female cats P1,000.
For male dogs, the price starts at P1,500 for those 10 kilos and below, plus an extra P100 per kilo.
For female dogs, the price is P2000 for those 10 kilos and below, plus an extra P100 per kilo.
The payment covers pain reliever good for 24 hours, a long-acting injectable antibiotic, good for 7 days, doctor’s fee, and anesthesia.
Alonte is also offering anti-rabies vaccine for P350, 4-in-1 vaccines for P900, 5/6/8 in 1 for dogs for P650, and microchipping for P800.
Pets with disability get a 50 percent discount.
Those who bring five cats get one free kapon, while those who bring two pets get one anti-rabies vaccine for free.
