Rue, an approximately 1-year-old retriever mix, is looking for a forever home. Described as “very sweet, very loving,” Rue came to Beaufort County Animal Services as a stray. While little is known about her past, Rue has shown herself to be both kid-friendly and dog-friendly.
“She loves attention,” said a representative from the shelter. Rue is ideally suited for a home with a good fenced yard and children to play with.
The adoption fee for Rue is $85, which includes her spay, microchip, and up-to-date vaccinations and flea control. Rue is currently located at Beaufort County Animal Services in Washington, North Carolina.
