Reward offered in stolen dog case out of Bristol


BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) – An organization that helps pet owners recover their animals said a reward is being offered in connection with the theft of a dog.

The CT Dog Gone Recovery group said that, with the help of Desmond’s Army, a $5,000 reward was up for grabs for information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of whoever was responsible.

Max, a toy poodle, was stolen from a home in Bristol on Oct. 24, 2024, according to CT Dog Gone Recovery.(CT Dog Gone Recovery)

The dog was said to be named Max.

Max was described as a 5-year-old male toy poodle. He’s tan/red and freshly groomed.

The group said Max was taken on Oct. 24 from his home in the Davis Drive, Vance Drive, and Jerome Avenue area of Bristol.
