PROVIDENCE, R.I.
(WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) is advising residents of a dog food recall affecting 5,700 pounds of Blue Ridge Beef’s two-pound log Natural Mix.

The recall is a result of Salmonella contamination.

The recalled food display the lot number N25/12/31, which can be found in the clips on the end of the bags.

They also contain the UPC#854298001054.

The recalled products were distributed between January 3 and January 24, 2025 and were sold primarily in retail stores in a several states, including Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

If you have purchased any of these recalled products, you are advised to return them to your place of purchase or to destroy the products in a way that renders them inaccessible to pets, wildlife and children.
