The Roanoke Valley SPCA is in urgent need of foster homes for two dogs in their care.

Due to major renovations to replace the shelter’s aging roof and HVAC system, all pets need to be out of the building by the end of day on Dec.
21, and will need to remain in foster care,  through at least the middle of February, according to an SPCA news release.

However, fosters able to provide care for part of that timeframe, would also be extremely helpful.
The shelter will not have heat during this time and will be closed, therefore, animals simply cannot stay in the building, according to the release.
