Rosey is a Workin' Gal
Some dogs are just built for a job, and Rosey is one of them. This Heeler mix is always on alert and has high herding instincts. She just can’t help herself!
About Rosey
At only 25 pounds, Rosey is a petite girl. She’s just a year old, so she’s full of life and energy. What she really needs is a family who can help her channel that energy or a farm where she can put her instincts to work.
Rosey was originally found stray with her mom Ruby. She was extremely scared when she first came in but was adopted quickly. However, she was returned due to her having too much energy and some separation anxiety. The adopters did say she started coming out of her shell when she was with them. They just couldn't handle her big emotions.

What the Staff Has to Say About Rosey
The Warrick Humane Society says she’s incredibly smart and playful. She loves kids and gets along with most other dogs, making her a great match for an active family.
Rosey didn't get along with her former adopter's dogs or cats, but she does well with other dogs at the shelter, so bring your dogs to meet and greet with her if you are interested.
