Meet our lovable pets of the week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
Alaska and Cheese are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These lovely animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below!
Dog of the Week: Alaska
Well, would you just have a look at this glorious-looking girl! Alaska here is a Siberian Husky with all the traits and mannerisms you might expect, including a melodious howl she’ll use to talk with you.
She’s four years old and has enjoyed family life, so she’s ready to be a terrific, friendly pet. Alaska likes other animals as well, so she’ll make an excellent second dog for your expanding canine family.
Alaska needs a committed owner to exercise and groom that magnificent white coat.
She likes to play with soccer and tennis balls and will really suit an active owner and lifestyle. She has love to give and would love to meet you. Come and visit today!
Cat of the Week – Cheese
The eyes of Cheese, the domestic medium-haired cat, have powers that are not unlike Medusa’s – although he’s more likely to melt your heart than turn you into stone. His eyes are large and alluring. Fortunately, he has a sweet personality to match.
While hesitant at first, Cheese will come and greet you to see what all the fuss is about. He has a charm and really needs to be living with a family in a stable home. He’s fine with other cats, too (he plays nice).
He’s a huge fan of getting scratches on his head and has a habit of rolling onto his back to invite you to really give him some solid attention. He loves a snack as well.
Do you have a quiet home for a stunning boy with gorgeous eyes? Come and gaze into his little face; you’ll love him!
Pawnote: While our consecutive streak of animals who were adopted after appearing in this article is over, our bonded pair of cats, Veronica and Heather, who were featured here about a month ago, have found a new home. Bravo, Canberra; we love your love of pets.
Visit RSPCA ACT today at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life. You won’t regret it!
