RSPCA ACT’s Pets of the Week – Wally and Chase

Dog of the Week: Wally

We need to find little Wally a home soon. He’s still a puppy at just seven months of age and he’s still growing. If you visit the shelter and wonder which dog he is, just look for the small dog with the huge grin and the waggly butt. He can’t contain his happiness to see people.

Wally is perfect. He’s the most brilliant, friendly but gentle little guy, a ready-made pet who will love you to bits. The catch is, he doesn’t like other dogs.

Wally has been with us for just a few months, but that’s long enough for us. We don’t want to see him grow to be an adult in a shelter environment; we’ve seen it too many times of late.

Come and meet Wally, his joy is contagious!

Chase is friendly, well-behaved and very chilled. Photo: RSPCA ACT.

Cat of the week: Chase

Chase is a superb cat, a great pet, friendly, well-behaved and handsome to boot. Some cats need an extra “shove” of publicity to find a home; Chase won’t, he’s good to go.

He’s a great example of what you’ll find in the RSPCA ACT cattery – cats with various personalities but they become settled, get used to people and soon become wonderful pets – even before they make it to your home.

In your home Chase will spend his time lounging about in the sun and being the most chilled-out little guy ever. But when the time’s right he’ll wonder on over for a pat, a head boop and a loud chat!

Visit the cattery at RSPCA ACT and you’ll see a huge variety of cats, all waiting desperately to claim your home as their own.

Pawnotes: We’ve had a wonderful response to our many puppies who now have forever homes. We still have some superstar mumma dogs here waiting to be adopted as well, with still more puppy litters soon to be available. Thank you Canberra.

Visit RSPCA ACT today at 12 Kirkpatrick Street, Weston and add a new companion to your life. You won’t regret it!
