Laguna Board Member Danzel Fernandez is in mourning as the family’s pet dog Kookie has crossed the rainbow bridge.
They held a wake for Kookie, who was four and a half years old.
Fernandez said Kookie had Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease.
He is thankful for the moments spent with Kookie, who filled their lives with unconditional love and joy.
She will always be in their hearts, he said.
Run free, Kookie!
“It breaks our hearts to share that our beloved Kookie, born April 20, 2020, crossed the rainbow bridge today.
She fought bravely against Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease and filled our lives with unconditional love and joy.
Run free now, Kookie girl. More belly rubs for you up there. You’ll forever be in our hearts
Thank you Eternal Paw Crematory for helping us lay our sweet Kookie to rest with love and care,” Fernandez posted.
