REDDING, Calif. — Start your engines and get ready to ride with Ryder the one-year-old pit/terrier mix with adorably expressive ears, and a great smile.
Ryder was adopted once before as a puppy but was sadly returned to Haven Humane. Katrina Lovitt-Swain said he’s been rehomed a few times in his life and now needs a permanent home.
According to Lovitt-Swain, Ryder is very friendly. She said he gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids. He is already neutered, has all his shots, and is ready to find his forever home today!
Ryder is a young dog so he comes with all the energy of a puppy, but Lovitt-Swain told us he has a particularly gentle and calm demeanor, especially in unfamiliar situations.
For more information and the opportunity to meet Ryder, Lovitt-Swain said the best way to get ahold of them is by phone at (530-241-1653) or you can go to the shelter at 7449 Eastside Rd.in Anderson.
Haven Humane is also hosting a fundraiser withBlack Rose Coffee & Teaat9539 Old Oregon Trail in Redding. The fundraiser began at 5:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, and goes until 5 p.m. They say 20% of purchases go towards supporting the animals at Haven Humane. They’ll also be accepting donations on location.
And if you can’t make it over there but would still like to support Haven Humane and all the animals at the shelter, you can alwaysdonate online.
