Two domesticated pythons, Mango and Bagel, were released from a unit into the suburb of Coogee a month ago after a man allegedly damaged the snakes' enclosure and placed them in a box outside.
The 25-year-old owner was left distraught when her snakes disappeared and took to Facebook to share an appeal to help locate the reptiles.
On Monday, a month after its disappearance, Mango was found hiding under a rock near a Coogee home.
”I can't express how grateful I am for the overwhelming response and assistance I received during this time,” the owner wrote on Facebook.
“Thank you once again for being there for me and my scaly babies.
“Your kindness has touched my heart.”
