Star: This sweet dog is spayed and ready for her forever home. She and her sister, Twinkle, have been here for a while and are a little shy. They are the sweetest babies once they get used to you. They are very cuddly and would LOVE a couch. Star is around 8 months old.

Twinkle: Star’s sister, who is also spayed and around 8 months old, is super sweet and would love to learn how to be a proper dog. She loves to cuddle and is learning how to play. Please come meet these girls.

Louisiana: This cat is about a year old and is ready for a home. She loves to be held and cuddle and would make a perfect companion for anyone who is looking for a new best friend.

All adoptions include a spay/neuter, dewormer and preventatives.
Animal services is currently in need of food donations for its community pet food bank, which goes to help pets of those in need. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to Burke County Animal Services at 425 Kirksey Drive, Morganton, NC 28655.
Those in need of pet food can stop by animal services and fill out a one-time informational form and let them know what you need.
