ILLINOIS — It's that time of year again, when we humans have yet another excuse to dress up their pets in firefighter uniforms, devil horns, Beetlejuice wigs, fairy wings and other over-the-top Halloween garb. We're asking Illinois readers to share photos of their dogs, cats, birds, turtles and more in their most eerily adorable, hauntingly heart-melting and chillingly cute Halloween costumes.
Here's how to get your pet considered for our Halloween Pet Photos roundup.
1. Email a photo you took of your pet to lisa.farver@patch.com
2. Include the subject: Halloween Pet Photos
3. Include the following “I took this photo and I give Patch permission to use it.”
The deadline to submit your photo is Oct. 20.
Before Halloween, Patch will post an article featuring your frightful assortment of four-legged friends.
