Several pets die and 2 people hospitalized in Fleetwood fire | Berks Regional News


FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Crews were called to a home in Fleetwood Saturday morning.

The 300 block of E. Washington Street was the scene of a fire that severely damaged a residence, left at least two people homeless, and caused the death of a reported 7 pets.










WFMZ-69 reporter Zach Brader who observed the fire says the fire broke out shortly before 9:30 a.m., and occupants of the house on fire were trapped but made it out and were transported to a hospital.

One person in the house next door had to be evacuated as well. At least 6 cats and a dog did not make it out.
