STURTEVANT, Wis. (CBS 58) — SEWERfest will be back this Sunday, April 27 with hundreds of exotic reptiles and insects. Organizers say it's the perfect place to meet captive breeders and learn about what type reptiles are out there.
Whether you're looking to adopt a bearded dragon or you just want to pet a tortoise, the event will have something for everyone. WPS Reptile will host educational presentations and dozens of vendors will be on site to meet and talk reptiles.
“That's one of the things we're emphasizing this year, is just that education aspect of it, that's why we've got WPS [Reptiles] coming out and doing educational shows at 11 o clock and 1 p.m. during the event,” said organizer Shane Ager. “That way if you're really not into it, but maybe you're curious about it, you can learn more, experience it and maybe see if one of these guys is right to bring home.”
The event is cash only at the door. VIP admission begins at 9 a.m. and general admission is 10 a.m.
