Shannon Beador clarified that her beloved dog, Archie, did not die after telling her followers that he was “in heaven.”

The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star sparked concern Wednesday when she shared a sweet photo of the golden retriever sweetly looking into the camera with his mouth open.

“Archie is in heaven with lots of friends!” she captioned the Instagram Story post.

Beador, 60, evidently got several messages about her vague caption, as she posted an explanation later that day.

“I said he was ‘in heaven’ because there were so many little dogs were [sic] around him! Little dogs are his favorite!!! Archie is great!!!” she wrote over a photo of the canine playing in the ocean.

“RHOC” viewers have known and loved Archie since Beador introduced him on the Bravo reality series in 2016.

The “Housewife” adopted the pup after a fan tweeted a photo of him and asked her whether she knew anyone who was looking for a pet.

“A couple months later, Archie came to our house,” she told the Daily Dish in 2017. “He’s so much fun and so protective and just has these sweet quirks, and we’re all in love!”

However, their journey hasn’t always been smooth sailing.

In 2021, Beador begged her social media followers to help find Archie after he went missing overnight.

“I don’t know what happened, but I’m yelling his name every two seconds for the last five hours, so if anyone here in Port Streets [a community in Orange County] has seen my dog, we’re devastated,” she said while crying in an Instagram Story video.

Thankfully, just a few hours later, the reality star updated fans to share that she had located her precious pooch.

“Archie is home! Thank you to everyone that helped me throughout the night and especially to my neighbor who took him in and kept him safe! Grateful beyond,” she captioned a post at the time.

The two faced another hurdle last September when Beador drove drunk with Archie in the car and was subsequently arrested for DUI and hit-and-run.

After the Bravolebrity clipped a house and parked her car, she was caught pretending to walk the dog.

A police official later told Page Six that Beador had eventually asked officers whether Archie could be “dropped off at someone’s house to take care of it while she was dealing with her situation.”

Archie was not injured in the crash and was brought to a home while his owner was taken into custody.

Beador has since reunited with her dog and frequently shares sweet photos of them together.
