‘Skeletal Dog’ Found Under A Bridge By Two Girls Couldn’t Stand Up

Two girls encountered a severely malnourished and motionless dog beneath a bridge, unable to ignore his dire state. They quickly assembled a makeshift stretcher using a cart and blankets to transport him. They brought the emaciated canine to the Animal Haven shelter in New York, where he appeared to instinctively understand that he was in caring hands.

Despite his history of neglect and abuse, Timmie displayed remarkable friendliness and trust. To the girls’ astonishment, upon arriving at the shelter, he found the strength to stand and even walk around a bit. After giving him some food and ensuring he was stable, they quickly took him to the emergency veterinarian for the urgent care he desperately needed.

Timmie spent 36 days under the vigilant care of veterinarians, during which time he gradually gained weight and regained his health to a point where he could be placed in a foster home. This is where Allison enters the narrative. Initially, she didn’t plan on keeping him permanently, but their instant bond changed everything. Timmie became her constant shadow, unwilling to part from her side.

This unexpected companionship turned into what’s affectionately known as a “foster failure,” but in the best way possible. You’d be amazed to see how wonderful Timmie looks now, thriving in his forever home with Allison.
