In a shocking incident took place in Swargate a dog was run over by a luxury car driven by a lawyer. The FIR claimed that the driver, aware that he had run over the animal, did not stop and instead attempted to bribe the dog's owner, urging them not to file an FIR.
Despite the bribe attempt, the FIR was filed by Padmini Peter Stump of the Mission Possible Foundation in Pune at Swargate Police Station.
The dog, who had been lying in the sun to keep warm, suffered severe injuries. According to the post-mortem report, the dog's entire body was crushed, and its spine was broken into pieces. The dog suffered and died within 1.75 minutes of the incident.
The video of the incident shows a car running over the dog which later crosses road and almost collapses.
