Storage bin of cats left at RACC

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Richmond Animal Care and Control is calling out the person responsible for dumping a storage bin of cats on its doorstep.

A Facebook post from the shelter shows at least five orange tabby cats crammed inside the bin.

RACC reminds people that abandoning animals is a crime, and security cameras are on site.

The group suggests that you call the shelter to surrender a pet.

They have staff available 7 days a week for emergency surrender services.
