Strathmore residents can get their furry pets' nails trimmed while also looking for adorable adoptable dogs.
Pet Valu in Strathmore is hosting the event Wednesday night in partnership with the Rescued Paws at Alpine Foundation.
The foundation is a local dog rescue and rehoming organization.
“Rescued Paws at Alpine Foundation was officially registered as a nonprofit in 2022, prior to this we operated with the help and donation of space from Alpine View Pet Spa to board dogs until foster or adoptions were found,” the organization said.
“It all started as a small hobby to help canines, as small ‘home away from home' for dogs that find themselves displaced, in a home that they don’t fit in well with, or other special circumstances. We have since multiplied in demand so much that we are seeking a building to call our own.”
The festivities will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
