When deciding what Louisiana city to move to would you ever factor in dog-friendlyness?

Many people would, which is why Lawnstarter compiled a list of what cities are the best for dog owners based on five categories: access to dog-friendly housing and businesses, friendliness of dog-related laws, and affordability of canine services like training and dog sitting among 34 total metrics.

In honor of National Dog Day on Monday, August 26th, Lawnstarter compared 500 cities across the country to determine where dogs and dog owners alike would live their best doggone lives.

The number one city in the US for dog lovers is Scottsdale, Arizona followed by Asheville, North Carolina, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.

So where are doggos and their humans happiest in Louisiana, let's take a look at the 4 Louisiana cities that made the list.
