The Bear & The Rat teams up with Yelloh

KEYPORT, NJ, and BLOOMINGTON, MINN. — On Oct. 2, frozen dog snack brand The Bear & The Rat debuted a partnership with Yelloh™ (formerly Schwan’s Home Delivery). Through the partnership, The Bear & The Rat’s Bacon & Peanut Butter Frozen Dog Yogurt is now available through Yelloh’s newly launched website and mobile app.

Yelloh serves as a leading direct-to-consumer (DTC) food delivery company, specializing in frozen foods. The Bear & The Rat has long been producing its human-grade yogurt for dogs but has not sold directly to consumers due to the high costs associated with shipping frozen products, according to the brand.

“We are thrilled to partner with Yelloh, as they are the longtime leader in direct-to-consumer frozen foods,” said Meg Meyer, co-founder and president of The Bear & The Rat. “Pups will be excited to see our prebiotic frozen yogurt dog treats delivered along with their human’s high-quality frozen meals and ice cream.”

Since its founding, The Bear & The Rat aims to provide dogs with “good-for-them” ice cream products. The company’s frozen yogurts are made with human-grade ingredients including yogurt, peanut butter and bacon, as well as functional ingredients to target gut health.

Yelloh’s partnership with the brand is part of its Partner Picks program, through which Yelloh aims to team up with other companies to grow its selection of frozen food products. Through this particular partnership, Yelloh will offer frozen yogurt for dogs for the first time in the company’s history.
