USA Today is asking readers to vote for their favorite pet-friendly hotel and two lodgings in Oregon are on the ballot.
Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa in Pacific City and The Hotel Zags in Portland are among the 20 hotels nominated by a panel of experts for the newspaper’s Readers’ Choice awards. You can vote for your favorite pet-friendly hotel once every day until polls close Monday, June 24 at 9 a.m. PDT.
USA Today likes Headlands because the rooms come with a dog bed and food and water dishes. The Hotel Zag offers a wide array of pet-friendly amenities.
Other nominees from the West Coast are all in California: Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa in Sonoma, Kimpton Canary Hotel in Santa Barbara, Paséa Hotel & Spa in Huntington Beach, The Seabird Ocean Resort & Spa in Oceanside and The Steward in Santa Barbara.
Hotels aren’t the only pet-friendly places USA Today is putting up for a vote. You can also make your voice heard in their competitions for best dog-friendly beach and best dog park.
