He did have some parasites that they thought may have stunted his growth, and one vet specialist suggested the possibility that he’s a dwarf. Ranger then started losing his fur. A couple of people said it was probably the thyroid, a pretty common symptom of dwarfism. But the pup was always so upbeat and full of energy! He never acted sick. His hair finally grew back in, and today he’s around 15 pounds and just a little bit bigger than a cat! This is the story of the German Shepherd who would not grow.
