STOCKHOLM — The Nutriment Company recently announced its acquisition of two pet nutrition companies — The Dog’s Butcher, a natural raw dog food company, and Your Pet Nutrition, a pet supplement company.
Founded by Joanne and Daniel McMahon, The Dog’s Butcher is known for using high-quality, hand-picked ingredients that are sourced locally from Devon, Cornwall and Southwestern England. With a focus on raw dog nutrition, The Dog’s Butcher offers an extensive range of products, including more than 100 different protein minces, chunks and bones.
“This acquisition marks a significant milestone as we strengthen our position in the UK raw pet food market even further,” the company shared. “By joining forces with us many more customers across the UK will have access to The Dog’s Butcher products.”
In addition to acquiring The Dog’s Butcher, The Nutriment Company also acquired Your Pet Nutrition. This UK-based company is a leader and “well-loved” name in the veterinarian-developed pet supplement arena, according to The Nutriment Company. It offers an extensive range of supplements, all co-developed and approved by Michael Lazaris, DVM. Each product is formulated with all-natural ingredients, allowing the company to be committed to transparency and sustainability.
Your Pet Nutrition’s flagship products are Canine Prime and Feline 40, both of which contain 40 essential nutrients blended into an easy-to-serve supplement to support overall pet health and wellness.
The company was previously owned by Malaberg Ltd.

These latest acquisitions build upon The Nutriment Company’s growth strategy. Previously known as Voff, The Nutriment Company in the last year has acquired four pet nutrition companies: Totally Natural Pet Products, Natural Instinct, PETMAN and Pet Treats Wholesale.
