MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – On Tuesday’s episode of Upper Michigan Today, Elizabeth Peterson and Tia Trudgeon get digging and design their own hanging planters.
Linda Andriacchi of The Plant Connection in Ishpeming proposed the idea to the two, with hopes of auctioning off the hanging baskets to benefit Superiorland Pet Partners.
But first, Elizabeth and Tia share stories of the day.
Now, back to planting!
If you’re interested in making your own hanging planter, The Plant Connection is hosting a workshop this Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m.
You can sign up at the shop or pre-register at plantconnectionllc.com.
You can visit The Plant Connection at 321 W. Division St. in Ishpeming to place your bid on Tia’s or Elizabeth’s basket.
Andriacchi says the proceeds from the baskets will be donated to Superiorland Pet Partners.
Therapy Pet Handlers Dominic Andriacchi, Mary Lee Kirkum, and Jo Garrish join the conversation to talk about their experience with Superiorland Pet Partners.
