These pooches took to the polls. From ‘I Voted’ stickers to patriotic attire, here’s what 8 dogs did on Election Day.

In Dixville Notch, N.H., the tiny township’s six registered voters gathered to cast their ballots shortly after midnight on Tuesday, with three for Vice President Kamala Harris and three for former President Donald Trump. Where the group might be unanimous, however, is in their choice for the night’s best dressed: the golden retriever who showed up to the Tillotson House at the Balsams Grand Resort wearing a U.S. flag tie.

The patriotic pup kicked off a trend on Election Day. She was just one of many dogs who had the privilege of showing up to the polls — and doing so in style. While there is a no-pet policy across all polling stations (except for service animals, according to the Americans With Disabilities Act), some pups still managed to make a pawsitive impact on the democratic process.
