ST. ALBANS, Maine (WABI) – A mobile home is considered a total loss after a fire in St. Albans Wednesday afternoon.
According to the town’s deputy fire chief, there was heavy smoke inside the home on Corinna Road when crews arrived around 2:30 p.m.
He says they were able to get the fire under control in less than a half hour with six departments on scene.
Unfortunately, we’re told a dog, and two cats were lost in the blaze.
The deputy chief says no people were injured and the homeowner has been put in contact with the red cross.
There is no word on a cause.
