MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – These three Pets with Potential are waiting at Homeward Bound of Addison County in Middlebury for their forever homes.
Titan is a 4-year-old terrier mix in search of a peaceful, patient home. Staffers say he can be shy at first but is very loving and snuggly, once comfortable. His passion in life is tennis balls and he loves to carry one around at all times. He should mesh fine with other mellow pets and would do best in a home without young kids.
Kit Kat is a 9-and-a-half-year-old kitty who staffers describe as affectionate and chatty. They say he is very food-motivated and needs to be an indoor-only cat. He was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and is on a low-cost medication that he takes twice daily. He would do best in a home without other animals where he can be the center of attention.
Bugs Bunny is a 1-year-old rabbit who loves to lounge around. Staffers describe him as a gentle soul who loves the simple things in life– a cozy hiding spot, observing his surroundings and chew toys. Staffers say he will even toss his toys in the air like a mini acrobat. He previously lived with other rabbits and got along with bunny-friendly dogs and cats, but overall he would best thrive in a cool, calm and collected home.
