TULSA, OKLA (KTUL) — Tulsa Animal Welfare (TAW) is looking for short-term foster homes.
According to TAW, short-term fosters can be utilized when foster parents have to leave town for a few days.
Dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens are available to foster anywhere from a few days to three months before they are available for adoption or transfer.
Animals too young to be spayed or neutered, adult pets that need to be away from the shelter pending transfer, and animals that are required to be out of the shelter for two weeks before boarding a flight are all examples of pets available for fostering.
If you are interested in becoming a foster parent, email TAWINFO@cityoftulsa.org.
