NEWAYGO COUNTY, Mich. — New year, new year you, new family member?
For those looking to start 2024 with a new best friend meet Ralph and Hunter.
Both dogs are available for adoption from the Newaygo County Animal Shelter.
Ralph (red bandana) is a lab mix.
He's senior looking to live the rest of his years in a quiet, loving home.
Staff at the shelter say Ralph is on the calmer side and is such a sweet boy who loves getting attention.
They say he would make the perfect snuggle buddy on these cold winter nights.
Hunter (blue bandana) is about a year old.
He's a hound dog that would love an active home.
Staff say he loves people can get very excited, and doesn't realize how big he is though.
Hunter has been around kids but older kids are recommended due to his size and energy.
