Is your valentine a dog lover? Or maybe your dog is your valentine?
Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue has the perfect Valentine’s Day gift idea.
Volunteers with the nonprofit dog rescue will deliver gifts to humans and canines alike, accompanied by four-legged couriers, on Feb. 13 and Feb. 14 throughout the Council Bluffs-Omaha metropolitan area.
Muddy Paws has teamed up with Nothing Bundt Cakes of Omaha and DogGurt of Bellevue for treats as part of their Valentine’s Day packages.
Humans can get a mini bundt cake, flower and card with a customized message delivered for $50. Dogs can get a toy and two 6-ounce DogGurt frozen yogurt treats for $25. Delivers are scheduled at time of purchase along with payment by card, PayPal or Venmo.
Deliveries can be made to homes, workplaces, schools and assisted living facilities, although advance approval is required for places where dogs and the public wouldn’t normally access.
